According to §18 para. 1, no. 2, no. 10, para. 2, para. 3 FAAG, there is no right of cancellation for services in the area of leisure activities if the contract provides for a specific date or period for the service.

In deviation from this and in the course of customer service, the following right of cancellation applies to all bookings made on the Sport Hilbrand homepages:

  1. If an order is cancelled, administrative costs (costs of payment processing & system fees) of € 5.00 will generally be incurred.
  2. Orders can be cancelled free of charge up to 10 days before the start of the rental period (administration costs of € 5.00 will be charged).
  3. Orders cancelled within a period of 10 days before the start of the rental period will be charged at 15% of the total rental price (plus administration costs of € 5.00).
    If the cancellation is made 9-1 days before the first rental day, 25% of the total rental price (plus administration costs of € 5.00) will be charged.
  4. If a rental item is not used on site, not collected or not cancelled in good time (at the latest 10 days before the start of the rental period), a fee of 25% of the rental price (plus € 5.00 administration costs) will also be charged for non-use.
  5. In the event of illness or accident during the rental period, the customer will be refunded the rental price pro rata (less € 5.00 administration costs) upon presentation of a medical certificate and immediate return of the rental equipment to the respective rental partner.
  6. If it is absolutely impossible to use the rental equipment on site (force majeure, closure of the entire Kleinwalsertal Oberstdorf ski area), we will refund the rental fee (less administration costs of € 5.00).
  7. A credit balance from a cancelled order will be refunded within a maximum of 14 days or, if desired, credited to you in the form of a shopping voucher. Depending on the payment method, the refund will be made to the credit card you specified when booking, via Paypal or to your bank account. For refunds to a bank account, the IBAN and BIC must be provided. Please contact Sport Hilbrand for this purpose.
